Palace James St Is Opening Soon To Bring You A Platinum Cinema Experience!

You will never want to go back to a regular cinema.

We have some exciting news for all you film buffs out there. James Street’s iconic Palace Cinemas is currently undergoing a major face lift and is transforming into ‘Palace James St’. Palace James St will be a place where guests are treated like royalty and are offered the ultimate cinema experience. Why the relaunch, you ask? The original Palace Cinemas would have been celebrating their 20th birthday in 2019, so there was no better time to revamp the venue. With this new makeover, Palace James St will be the first cinemas in Brisbane to offer a fully Platinum experience – butler service and all!

Palace James St will not be like your average cinema, so forget about grabbing your own popcorn and filling up your own Slurpee cup. As a guest at these new cinemas, you can order meals fresh from your favourite James St restaurants and have it delivered to you by your own butler. To satisfy your sweet tooth, after you have finished your meal, the cinemas will serve you a personal tasting platter of 5 choc top ice-creams.

If the butler service hadn’t already convinced you to visit Palace James St, then perhaps this will. For your own comfort, the cinemas have imported fully reclining leather chairs all the way from Spain which even - wait for it - have a holder for your handbag!

Palace James St will be opening on Friday November 16. We know what we will be doing that weekend.
