Everything We’re Watching On Netflix & Stan This Month

If I call in sick to work it’s because I’m binging The Office.

By Siobhan Taylor | 30th January 2018

Bouncing back from a long-weekend can be tough. To make things a little easier, we decided to round up a few of the newest Netflix and Stan additions that we can’t wait to curl up on the couch and watch all weekend long. Whether it’s an old fave or something new, here’s everything we’re watching on Netflix and Stan this month.

Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee Collections | Netflix

Easily one of the funniest dudes to grace this green planet, Jerry Seinfeld’s hilarious show Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee has finally made it’s way to Netflix. If you don’t know what the show is about, I really don’t know what to tell you… It says it all in the title. Prepare to pee your pants laughing.

American Horror Story: Roanoke | Netflix

If you haven’t found a way to watch each new season of American Horror Story before it makes it’s way to Netflix months after the fact, that sucks. But, you can finally celebrate because season six, American Horror Story: Roanoke is finally on Netflix! Spooks abound in this super creepy and eerie season, bringing that all-to-familiar vibe we love.

Grace and Frankie: Season 4 | Netflix

OMG. If you haven’t watched the stellar Netflix production that is Grace And Frankie, then consider this an intervention. I recommend you settle onto the sofa, break out the popcorn and prosecco (a winning combo), then binge watch every episode.

Queer Eye For The Straight Guy Reboot | Netflix

HELL YAASSSSS. Coming to a TV screen near you this February, the Netflix reboot of Queer Eye For The Straight Guy is here to change lives. Making its way to Atlanta, Georgia, the new season follows the Fab 5 as they make their way through the red state. Discussing everything from LGBTQ rights to political events, it’s here to make American fabulous again.

Romper Stomper | Stan

A sequel to the 1992 film of the same name, Romper Stomper is a six-part series following a new generation of activist-right, their anti-fascist counterparts, and the Muslim community caught in the middle. It’s heavy, gruesome, and incredibly relevant right now. Not great for light-chat over your Monday morning coffee, but still a very interesting cultural commentary of the current political climate.

The Office | Stan

This show needs no introduction, but, for the sake of editorial integrity, we’ll give you a brief summary. The Office follows the everyday lives of the office employees of the fictional Dunder Mifflin Paper Company. If you haven’t watched it, quit your job. Hole up inside your house, grab some sustenance and prepare yourself for (in my honest opinion) the best TV show ever. Below is my favourite scene for a little teaser.

RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars: Season 3 | Stan

Season three of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars is FINALLY here and it is sickening, honey. Featuring all our past faves (we see you there, Shangela) as well as every single critical and demanding judge, this season RuMama is not holding back.

My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman | Netflix

That’s right, David Letterman is back! As part of a six-episode Netflix series, David Letterman returns to the seat with his signature interview skills and a bang-up line-up of guests. From Tina Fey and Jay-Z to Malala Yousafzai and Barack Obama himself, it’s an incredibly intimate look at some of the biggest guests to grace his stage.

Dirty Money | Netflix

The latest doco from Netflix, this six-part series from Oscar-winning filmmaker Alex Gibney investigates the corruption of the global economy and corporate greed, culminating in a spotlight on the dubious business history of none other than Donald Trump. It’s challenging and illuminating, strategically unravelling the feeble history behind his empire. Prepare to be challenged.
