You can celebrate summer year-round near the beach (South Bank’s Streets Beach totally counts) at Soleil Pool Bar in South Brisbane. The poolside venue has two separate bars, with a focus on carefully crafted compendiums of cocktails and punches. Top tip: the view of the South Bank fireworks from this venue is spectacular!

A shot of Dandy's Rooftoop at The Fox Hotel

There are many Brisbane rooftop bars, but this one has definitely earned its title as one of Brisbane’s best urban adult playgrounds. The Fox Hotel’s Dandys Rooftop Bar is cool, casual and comfortable, with the vibrant colours enticing you in and the picnic benches, umbrellas and astro turf encouraging you to interact with strangers and play nice… it’s just one big backyard (or deck) party.

This intimate venue is perfect for a quiet drink with the girls, a wine (we prefer red) down after work or for a relaxed first date drink. The booth seats are draped with white curtains, while the venue is enclosed with greenery and fairy lights, which help to set the scene of a stylish escape from the hustle and bustle of the Valley below.

The Stock Exchange Rooftop Bar in The City.

In 2014 this inner-city venue revamped its historic appearance but kept its iconic appeal with the introduction of a trendy rooftop garden. The refurbished open-air rooftop terrace is totally worth checking out.
