Chocoholics, rejoice! It’s your (our) favourite time of the year – Easter! So we’ve hunted down the biggest and best Easter events in Brisbane to help you make the most of this delicious season.

1. Easter High Tea at Hilton Brisbane | Saturday, April 1 until Thursday, April 13

Enjoy a decadent Easter High Tea at the Hilton Hotel! Imagine tiers of macarons, chocolate caramel egg tarts, hot cross buns and finger sandwiches. Raspberry lemonade or hot chocolate will be on offer for the kids, while adults can enjoy espresso or gourmet tea. Delish!

2. Bluewater Festival Friday | Friday, April 14

Snag a top vantage point for the start of the Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race while indulging in gourmet food and perusing the market stalls. Free live entertainment, carnival rides and a plethora of Easter-themed activities will keep everyone entertained. Or you can simply soak up the sun and the stunning view of Moreton Bay.

3. Redcliffe Festival of Sails | Friday, April 14

Get yourself shore-side to watch the start of the Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race. The Redcliffe Festival of Sails kicks off on Good Friday and features plenty of Easter activities plus face painting, amusement rides, live entertainment, a visit from the Easter Bunny, market stalls and, of course, the beach!

4. North Brisbane Easter Festival | Friday, April 14 and Saturday, April 15

Join in all the Easter festivities at the North Brisbane Easter Festival. Featuring Easter egg hunts, blow-up rides, food trucks, live music and even a petting zoo, it’s a family friendly event so gather everyone and enjoy a picnic in the park.

5. Down The Rabbit Hole Easter Scavenger Hunt | Saturday, April 15

Keep the family entertained all day long with the Down the Rabbit Hole Easter Scavenger Hunt. Each venue along the way offers a fantastic range of food and drinks and an important stamp you’ll need to present at the end of the hunt in order to receive a special gift for each child.

The fun starts at 11am at Capalaba Tavern, heads to the Victoria Point Tavern from 1.30pm, and finishes up at the Redland Bay Hotel from 3pm. Assorted Easter activities will be on offer for the kiddies at all the locations so hop along!

6. Victoria Park Bistro Celebrates Easter Weekend 2017 | Saturday, April 15 and Sunday, April 16

After an egg-citing weekend? Then head along to Victoria Park Bistro’s Easter Weekend 2017. Jumping castles, sack races, tug-of-war and plenty of Easter-themed activities are on offer, as well as a special Easter-themed menu. And for $15 per adult and $10 per child, there’s an Endless Chocolate Fountain so decadent it’d be rude not to give it a try!

7. Easter Eggstravaganza Sandstone Point Hotel | Sunday, April 16

The Sandstone Point Hotel is an egg-cellent place to spend your Easter Sunday. Overlooking beautiful Bribie Island and Moreton bay, the hotel’s Easter Eggstraviganza will have 6000 Easter eggs hidden around the grounds, just waiting to be discovered and devoured. Live music, kids’ rides and a water park will keep the little ones busy burning off all the sugar; the adults can kick back and enjoy the scenery and a delicious spit roast meal or something tasty from the restaurant.

8. Easter Family Day @ Sirromet Winery | Sunday, April 16

Wine and dine at Sirromet Winery’s Easter Family Fun Day. The Easter Bunny will be there, handing out Easter eggs to the children. Plus, there’ll be live entertainment, kids’ rides and lots of delicious food for everyone to enjoy.
